Health endorsements on food labels are meant to be there to help us but are they really killing us instead?
Here in Australia there has been a recent issue surrounding health endorsements on food labels and more specifically the Heart Foundations tick of approval. Whether you’re in Australia, the US or somewhere else in the world, this issue applies to you because the same thing occurs and there are lessons to be learned here.
So in this podcast I share my take on health endorsements and cover how the Heart Foundation approves their tick, how the current way we approach food is all wrong, and share some other interesting insights around this topic too.

Here’s an interesting snippet from the Heart Foundation website.
Notice that they say the products they approve are not suitable for people with heart disease or nay other disease! Yep, they say that, yet they contradct themselves with their purpose.
Are they serving their purpose? No, I don’t think so!
I’d love to hear your thoughts too, so if you’ve got something to say please share your comments below 🙂
P.S. Share this podcast with your friends! This is an important issue so be and we want as many people as possible to learn about what the food industry and health endoresements on food labels are really doing to our health.
